Digital solutions provider, Globacom, has announced an entertainment tour for its youth-focused product, My-G, with events set to be hosted across major cities in Nigeria.
The company made this known at a press briefing, stating that the tour is designed to showcase the extensive benefits of My-G, a product tailored to meet the entertainment and connectivity needs of young Nigerians.
Globacom’s Director of Creativity, Mr. Chuka Obi, explained that My-G offers specially curated data bundles that allow customers to access their favourite entertainment platforms, social media channels, and streaming services at affordable rates.
“With My-G, Glo customers can enjoy WhatsApp, TikTok, Snapchat, BoomPlay, Audiomack, Instagram, and GloTV without worrying about data costs,” he said.
He added, “The My-G package is designed to deliver exceptional value, ensuring customers get the best data deals and spend more time on the platforms they love, without putting a strain on their finances.”
Obi further noted that the tour will feature engaging, on-ground experiences packed with top-tier entertainment, adding that access to these experiences will be tied to subscription to My-G data bundles.
Youth leaders present at the unveiling commended the initiative, describing it as a valuable opportunity for young people to connect with a brand that consistently supports their passions while offering affordable services.
President of the Students’ Union Government (SUG), Yaba College of Technology, Morakinyo Olaolu, described the initiative as a positive step for youth development. “We appreciate Glo for introducing My-G, a product clearly designed with young people in mind,” he said.
Similarly, the SUG President of Lagos State University, Adebobola Ayomide, noted that My-G would help students remain more active online, supporting both academic and social engagements. He also encouraged the company to introduce additional packages that would further enhance student life on campuses.

He also urged the company to extend more campus-based initiatives to benefit students regularly.
Globacom also used the occasion to reintroduce its competitive tariff plan, Berekete, now upgraded to Berekete 10X, which offers ten times the value of every recharge, double data benefits, and enhanced voice call incentives.
In addition, the company highlighted the Glo Café app, a one-stop digital platform for accessing Glo products and services. Available on the Google Play Store, the app offers users up to 100GB bonus data, including an instant 75GB and additional 5GB monthly allocations over five months.
