A Kenyan court has reportedly halted work related to a proposed Dangote refinery project in the country, following legal action over the development.
Despite the court order, the company has maintained that plans for the project remain on course and that the scheduled groundbreaking ceremony will proceed as planned.
The development has attracted attention as the Dangote Group continues to expand its investments beyond Nigeria, with the proposed project expected to contribute to Kenya’s energy and industrial sectors.
