Some youths in Ogun State have endorsed President Bola Tinubu and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections, citing the proposed $7bn seaport project as a key factor in their decision.
The project is expected to boost economic activities, create employment opportunities and strengthen the state’s position as an investment destination if successfully implemented.
The youths expressed optimism that the proposed seaport would stimulate development and provide opportunities for young people and businesses in Ogun State.
Their endorsement adds to political activities ahead of the 2027 elections, as parties and their supporters seek to mobilise voters around economic development and government projects.
