Veteran Nollywood actor, Yinka Quadri, has been appointed as the Mayor of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).
The appointment is part of efforts to strengthen public engagement and promote traffic awareness across Lagos State. In his new role, Quadri is expected to serve as a public ambassador for LASTMA, helping to educate road users on traffic regulations and responsible driving.
Authorities noted that his influence and wide appeal would support ongoing campaigns aimed at improving road safety and traffic compliance in the state.
Quadri expressed appreciation for the appointment and pledged to work closely with the agency to advance its mission of ensuring a safer and more orderly traffic system in Lagos.
