Several registered orphanages in Kwara State have denied any connection with an unregistered facility where 30 children were reportedly rescued.
The orphanage operators said they had no affiliation with the facility and urged authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding the children’s presence there.
The development has renewed concerns over unregistered care centres and the need for stronger monitoring to protect vulnerable children.
