The Osun State Government has denied allegations that ₦11 billion was misappropriated, with a commissioner responding to claims reportedly raised by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In the statement, the commissioner maintained that no such funds were looted, describing the allegation as inaccurate and misleading. He insisted that all financial transactions carried out by the state were in line with due process and existing regulations.
The official further urged the public to disregard what he termed unfounded claims, while reaffirming the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in the management of public resources.
