Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has appealed to residents for greater cooperation with security agencies as his administration intensifies efforts to combat kidnapping and other forms of crime across the state.
The governor called on citizens to provide timely and credible information that could assist security agencies in identifying criminals and preventing attacks.
Okpebholo said the government would continue to strengthen security measures and work with relevant agencies to protect lives and property across Edo.
He also urged traditional rulers, community leaders and residents to support the government’s security efforts by remaining vigilant and reporting suspicious activities.
The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to creating a safer environment for residents, businesses and visitors, stressing that collective action is necessary to effectively tackle insecurity in the state.
