UncategorizedToyin Abraham denies role in alleged re-arrest of influencer Big Ayo

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has dismissed claims linking her to the alleged re-arrest of X influencer Big Ayo, describing the reports as false and urging the public to ignore them.

The rumour, which began circulating online, suggested that the actress was behind another arrest involving the influencer following their dispute in 2024.

However, Abraham quickly moved to set the record straight, insisting she had no involvement.

“Arrest Ayo as how, pls this is fake and false news. I’m on set filming. Pls kindly disregard. I didn’t get Ayo or anyone arrested; it’s all love from me,” she said.

The allegation was traced to a now-deleted post by an X user identified as Khan, who claimed the influencer had been re-arrested at the instance of the actress.

Amid the growing speculation, a statement issued on X by Prince Adeshina on Tuesday night on the actress’s behalf refuted the claim.

“For the attention of the general public: Toyin Abraham was at a movie location and did not arrest Ayo,” the statement read.

“We urge the general public to consider the circulating report as fake news. Furthermore, the author of said report has been put on notice that, when called upon, he will be required to present evidence to support his claims”.

An update from Prince Adeshina said, “It has been confirmed that Big Ayo was indeed arrested, however this was carried out on the instruction of a private citizen whom he defamed not on the instruction of Toyin Abraham.”
Abraham reposted both statements on X, distancing herself from the controversy.
