The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has given its 2027 presidential candidates, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, a role in selecting key officials for the party’s Presidential Campaign Council.
The party said consultations on the composition of the council are at an advanced stage, with Obi and Kwankwaso expected to nominate some of the officers who will coordinate the campaign. (TheNewsGuru)
The development follows the unveiling of a separate 59-member campaign structure by the Obi-Kwankwaso Movement. However, the NDC clarified that the movement’s structure is distinct from the party’s official campaign council, which remains to be announced. (TheCable)
