The Progressive Speakers’ Forum of Nigeria has congratulated two of its members on securing governorship and Senate tickets, alongside other members who clinched return tickets as All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearers for the 2027 general elections.
The forum’s chairman, who also serves as Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, conveyed the congratulatory message to the successful candidates.
He noted that the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura, who emerged as the APC senatorial candidate for Daura Zone, and the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Yakubu Dalladi Salihu, who secured the party’s governorship ticket in the recently concluded APC primaries, have brought pride to the forum through their achievements.
Dangyatin also commended other forum members who obtained return tickets, describing their success as a reflection of their contributions to strengthening democracy and promoting good governance in Nigeria.
He further assured that members of the forum would continue to support and promote the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while working towards his re-election for a second term.
He added that the forum would not only mobilise support for Tinubu’s re-election but also ensure that all APC candidates emerge victorious at every level to advance sustainable democracy and national development.
According to him, the forum’s guiding principles, alongside the party’s philosophy, have continued to shape members’ commitment to the rule of law, transparency, and accountability—qualities that have earned them public trust and position them strongly for electoral success.
Dangyatin also urged Nigerians to sustain their support for President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” reforms, as well as the leadership of APC governors and other elected officials across the country.
