President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar, former Ogun State Governor Olusegun Osoba and other prominent Nigerians have celebrated veteran activist and pro-democracy campaigner Ayo Opadokun as he marks his 80th birthday.
The dignitaries commended Opadokun for his longstanding contributions to Nigeria’s democracy, rule of law and human rights advocacy.
They described him as a committed patriot whose activism during the struggle for democratic governance helped shape the country’s political development.
