Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has inaugurated a 600-member campaign council of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State.
The council is expected to coordinate the party’s grassroots mobilisation and strengthen its structures across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Malami urged members of the council to work together, engage voters and promote the party’s political agenda across communities in Kebbi.
The inauguration comes as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 elections, with opposition parties expanding their structures and seeking to attract new members and supporters.
The former minister called for unity, commitment and effective coordination among party stakeholders as the ADC prepares for the coming electoral contest.
