The National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barrister Murtala Aliyu Kankia, has commended the party’s National Woman Leader, Dr. Mary Alile-Adele, and National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, for their commitment to grassroots mobilisation and party building, urging other leaders to emulate their example.
In a statement, Kankia said the APC’s sustained electoral success depends on leaders willing to go beyond their official duties and make personal sacrifices to strengthen the party’s structures nationwide.
He noted that as Nigeria’s political environment becomes increasingly competitive, the ruling party must rely on dedicated individuals prepared to invest their time, energy, resources, and expertise in advancing its ideals.
Kankia particularly praised Dr. Alile-Adele for what he described as her exceptional grassroots mobilisation efforts, stating that she has transformed the office of the National Woman Leader into a vibrant platform for engaging women, youths, and other critical stakeholders across the country.
According to him, her commitment extends beyond statutory responsibilities, as she has consistently deployed her personal resources, energy, and intellectual capacity to promote the party without waiting for directives.
“Dr. Mary Alile-Adele has demonstrated that effective leadership is rooted in sacrifice, commitment, and consistent engagement with the people. Her dedication to strengthening the APC nationwide is worthy of emulation,” he said.
The APC legal adviser also lauded the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, for effectively articulating and defending the party’s policies and programmes, describing him as one of the APC’s most credible public communicators.
He said Morka has consistently projected the party’s position on national issues and responded decisively to opposition criticisms, thereby reinforcing public confidence in the APC.
“Likewise, Felix Morka has remained a steadfast defender of our policies and programmes. His professionalism and dedication have made him one of the party’s strongest voices and a reference point in political communication,” Kankia added.
Kankia urged APC executives at the national, state, and local government levels to adopt a similar spirit of selfless service, stressing that political parties thrive when leaders take personal responsibility for mobilising supporters and defending their ideals.
Expressing confidence in the party’s future, he said the commitment demonstrated by Alile-Adele and Morka would enhance internal cohesion and position the APC for greater electoral success.
He added that sustained grassroots mobilisation, effective communication, and unwavering loyalty remain critical to consolidating the party’s achievements and maintaining its leadership position in Nigeria’s political landscape.
