More than 500 residents of Osun State are expected to benefit from free eye and dental treatment under a healthcare initiative aimed at improving access to essential medical services.
The programme is expected to provide beneficiaries with medical consultations, eye examinations and dental care, particularly for residents who may struggle to afford the cost of treatment.
The initiative is also intended to promote early detection of eye and dental conditions, while encouraging residents to prioritise regular medical check-ups.
Access to affordable healthcare remains a concern for many Nigerians, as rising medical expenses continue to place pressure on households. Free medical outreaches therefore offer opportunities for vulnerable residents to receive professional attention and obtain appropriate treatment.
The programme is expected to ease some of the financial burden on beneficiaries while raising awareness about the importance of maintaining good eye and oral health.
Further details about the organisers, the treatment locations and the commencement date were not immediately available.
