A clergy has expressed concern over the growing influence of the digital age on Christian families, warning that excessive use of technology could weaken family relationships and values.
The cleric noted that while digital platforms offer significant benefits, including easier communication and access to information, their misuse could expose families to harmful content and reduce meaningful interaction among family members.
The clergy urged parents to take a more active role in monitoring their children’s digital activities and promoting responsible technology use.
Church leaders were also encouraged to support families through counselling, education and programmes that address the challenges created by social media and other digital platforms.
The cleric stressed the importance of maintaining strong family bonds and Christian values despite the rapid changes brought about by technology.
